A historic milestone: 40 years of Fispal

In this 2024, Fispal celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of significant impact on the lives of thousands of professionals, from entrepreneurs to large business owners. During these years, the event has contributed to the sustainable growth of the catering industry by building opportunities, generating connections and facilitating partnerships.

A recognized success

More than 52,000 qualified visitors attended the 2023 edition, all looking for market news and trends.  The fair offered a program rich in content and experiences, confirming its importance as a benchmark for the industry.

Fispal Food’s digital platform

Not only physical events, but also a robust digital platform that provides a network of connection for the food service community.  Through this platform, industry professionals can access exclusive content with certifications, solutions for their business, and connect with exhibitors year-round. This tool is essential to keep the sector always updated and competitive.

Commitment to sustainability

The mission of Fispal is to contribute to the sustainable growth of the catering industry.  During the 2023 edition, more than 3 tons of food was collected for the Quebrada Alimentada project. The event supports more than 40 initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, promoting sustainable consumption and production.

Social and environmental projects

Fispal supports various projects such as Fruta Imperfeita, which combats food waste, and Serenidade do Toque, which offers massages for the blind.  In addition, the Café Solar, an initiative to reintegrate the homeless, will participate by donating 200 packs of specialty coffee to Quebrada Alimentada, a project conceived by the restaurant Mocotó that provides food to 400 low-income families in northern São Paulo.  During the event, all proceeds from the solidarity ticket will go towards food donations.

Initiatives for a Sustainable Event

Fispal is committed to reducing environmental impact through various initiatives:

  • Collection and sanitation of plastic bags.
  • Recycling of signage materials and tarpaulins used at the fair
  • Use of digital badges and FSC-certified paper
  • Recycling 80% of the carpets used
  • Promotion of LED lighting and reused modular structures
  • Intelligent air-conditioning management and encouraging the use of modular stands

Mobility and Accessibility

To facilitate access to the event, Fispal offers a free shuttle service from the Metrô Tietê station and promotes carpooling.  It also works with travel agencies to optimize travel and hotel costs and provides accessibility with motorized chairs for people with reduced mobility.

Estande Sustentável Prize 2024

This initiative rewards exhibitors who choose sustainable solutions for their booths, significantly reducing the waste generated after the event.  This award reflects the commitment of Fispal to a greener future.

We at LAIeF will participate in Fispal Food Service, STAND F025, from June 11 to 14, 2024, at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (BR); we will be present to showcase our specialized equipment and the latest technological innovations in industrial ice cream production:

  • Linear and rotary machines for the industrial production of ice creams on sticks.
  • All components can be customized (moulds, dosing unit, stick machine, granulator, packaging line) and are suitable for high-quality ice cream production in large volumes.
  • Varying production capacities: up to 22,000 pieces.
  • Sandwich machines to produce ice cream sandwiches
  • This is a wide range offering differing levels of flexibility and capacity: from 3,000 up to 15,000 ice cream sandwiches per hour.
  • Machines for extruded ice cream cakes
  • The final product is extruded continuously onto plastic trays, which are moved along the production line by a ladder chain.
  • Wrapping machines
  • Made of stainless steel and designed for the specific needs of an ice cream factory, where humidity and washing with chemical cleaning agents place the materials used under great strain.
