Gulfood Manufacturing 2026: LAIeF returns to Dubai

19 October 2026

Some trade shows are places to discover what is new. Others are where you try to understand where the industry is heading. Gulfood Manufacturing definitely belongs to the second category.

From 3 to 5 November 2026, the Dubai World Trade Centre will host a new edition of Gulfood Manufacturing, an event dedicated to the entire food manufacturing ecosystem: processing, packaging, ingredients, automation, control and supply chain. This year’s theme is particularly meaningful: Powering Food Security Through Manufacturing Innovation, in other words, strengthening food security through industrial innovation.

And we at LAIeF will be in Dubai, bringing our experience in designing and manufacturing machinery for industrial ice cream production and ice cream novelties, in an international setting where technology and production capacity are increasingly interconnected.

You will find us at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Shk Saeed Hall 3 – S3-C28.

LAIeF at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026

The factory of the future is no longer science fiction

One of the most interesting areas of focus at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 is the transformation of the manufacturing plant itself.

New additions to the Industry Excellence Awards 2026 include the Factory of the Future Award, recognising companies implementing automation, digitalisation, robotics, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 technologies at scale. Alongside this category, the event also focuses on AI & Smart Manufacturing, sustainability and Net Zero Manufacturing.

In other words, the factory of the future is no longer simply the one with more machines. It is the one where machines communicate with each other, collect data, optimise processes and help reduce waste and resource consumption.

This becomes particularly interesting for the world of industrial ice cream production, too. Increasing productivity is important, of course. But today it also means being able to manage different production runs, maintain consistent quality, use resources more efficiently and respond quickly to market needs.

Because producing more is one thing. Producing better, with greater control and flexibility, is another story.

From processing to artificial intelligence

Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 brings together technologies ranging from processing and packaging to automation and supply chain in a single event. The processing area includes, among other things, solutions for temperature control, dosing and quality control; on the automation side, the programme explores smart sensors, cloud systems, image recognition, data analysis and robotics.

Completing the picture is the FoodTech Summit, which in 2026 will bring together over 100 international experts in food engineering, manufacturing, investment and industry policy, with a programme dedicated to emerging technologies, sustainability and new production models. So this is about more than theory: the stated aim is to bring practical applications and useful guidance for industry to the table.

Then there are the Innovation Tours, designed to guide visitors through the most interesting technologies directly on the show floor. A far more effective way of looking into the future than a crystal ball: here, you can see innovation in action.

Dubai and the changing food manufacturing landscape

The focus on food security is no coincidence. The 2026 edition of Gulfood Manufacturing takes place at a time when the United Arab Emirates is investing in localising food production, increasing domestic production capacity and building stronger regional supply chains. The organisers specifically emphasise the role of industrial innovation in making the food system more resilient.

This is an interesting landscape for companies such as LAIeF, which develops technologies for industrial production that must be reliable, efficient and capable of adapting to different markets.

Moreover, the Middle East is no longer simply a commercial destination: it is a region where manufacturing, investment and technological innovation are rapidly converging. For an international company, meeting manufacturers, operators and professionals here means engaging with practical needs and a demand for technologies increasingly focused on efficiency and flexibility.

LAIeF’s journey continues

For LAIeF, Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 follows a particularly busy year of international activity.

In 2026, our machines have continued travelling well beyond Italy’s borders, just as we have. From the Americas to Asia, via Europe and the Middle East, taking part in international events allows us to meet different markets, listen to manufacturers with different needs and discuss the changes shaping the food industry.

And there is a little irony in all this: we at LAIeF have practically travelled around the world in 2026; our machines, on the other hand, began their journey around the world long ago.

Today, our technologies have found a home on every continent, bringing solutions for industrial ice cream production and ice cream novelties to widely differing manufacturing environments:

  • Linear and rotary machines for the industrial production of ice cream on stick, customizable in all their components (molds, dosing units, stick machine, granulator, packaging line) and suitable for high-quality ice cream production in large volumes.
  • Varying production capacities: up to 22,000 pieces.
  • Sandwich machines to produce ice cream sandwiches. This is a wide range offering differing levels of flexibility and capacity: from 3,000 up to 15,000 ice cream sandwiches per hour.
  • Machines for extruded ice cream cakes, where the final product is extruded continuously onto plastic trays, transported along the production line by a ladder chain.
  • Stainless steel wrapping machines, designed for the specific needs of an ice cream factory, where humidity and washing with chemical cleaning agents place the materials used under great strain.
  • Our Top Products, designed to create tailor-made ice cream for each of our customers.

It is precisely this international dimension that gives our presence in Dubai particular significance. A trade show such as Gulfood Manufacturing is not just a place to present a technology, but also one where we can understand how that technology can meet production needs that vary from country to country.

From innovation to production: see you in Dubai

The word innovation can easily become one of those words used so often that they lose their meaning. At Gulfood Manufacturing, however, the concept returns to its most tangible form: machines, data, automation, efficiency, sustainability and production capacity.

This is where LAIeF wants to make its contribution, sharing the experience gained in designing solutions for industrial ice cream production and ice cream novelties, and engaging with an international audience increasingly focused on equipment performance and the ability to build flexible, reliable production operations.

So, from 3 to 5 November 2026, you will find us at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Shk Saeed Hall 3 – S3-C28.

Because the future of food manufacturing may be difficult to predict. But one thing is certain: it is far more interesting to go and meet it in person.
