LAIeF at SIGEP 2024

Once again this year, we at LAIeF, a leading Italian company in design, manufacture and maintenance of machinery for industrial ice cream production , will be present at SIGEP 2024, also at the Rimini Fair, from January 20 to 24.

SIGEP represents the most prestigious international event dedicated to Artisan Gelato and the Art of Confectionery.

Watchword: innovation

This 45th edition focuses mainly on the theme of innovation. In fact, the organization has created the Innovation District, a large dedicated exhibition area in the South Hall. According to a statement by IEG(Italian Exhibition Group) in a note, this space will be the place where new ideas and innovations designed to boost the competitiveness of the Sweet Foodservice sector will come to life.

New will be the Innovation Award, created through collaboration with ANGI (National Association of Young Innovators) with the goal of allowing participating companies to highlight their distinctive features and related values. Companies will have the opportunity to apply in one of five available categories: Innovative Product, Sustainability, Digital Innovation, Organic/Free From and Packaging. The Jury will be composed of a scientific committee and a pool of industry experts.

The Vision Plaza will once again feature experts in the soft food service industry through professional meetings and focused discussions in order to understand the challenges present in the industry and identify prospects for future growth and development. Key trends will be examined during these events, with a focus on country-specific developments, the evolving digital culture and sustainability.

A wide range of items including raw materials, ingredients, machinery, equipment, furnishings, packaging and services will also be showcased during a series of talks, providing an unmissable opportunity to get a preview of what’s new in the industry.

Over the course of the five-day event, SIGEP will welcome visitors and buyers from around the world. It is clear why it provides a unique opportunity to explore the latest innovations, trends and developments in the Sweet Foodservice industry.
